Microsoft has recently introduced a common-line tool to manage Store apps. The CLI tool is part of the Microsoft Store appx package. If your Microsoft Store app is up to date, simply run store.exe to launch the Store CLI tool. It works in Windows 10 and 11.

The above command only shows the Store apps installed. Whereas, the winget list command lists all apps, including the classic apps installed on the computer. Store CLI complements WinGet by bringing the full breadth of Microsoft Store capabilities to the command line.
The Store CLI is available only on devices where Microsoft Store is enabled. It’s similar to the Winget CLI tool. Learn more by typing store –help on the command line. See also: Introducing the Microsoft Store command-line interface (Feb 11, 2026)
Note: The above tool is unrelated to the Microsoft Store Developer CLI. The “Microsoft Store CLI” app is for end-user app management, and the “Microsoft Store Developer CLI” is for application publishing.
