Is your PC waking up automatically when in Sleep mode, and wondering which device is waking the system up? Here is a command which gets the list of devices that are configured to wake the computer up.
Open a Command Prompt window (cmd.exe) and type:
Press {ENTER}
If you find a device in the list that may be causing the problem, open Device Manager and disable the wake up option for the device. This can be done by double-clicking the corresponding device in Device Manager, clicking Properties and clicking on the Power Management tab.

Note: You can open Device Manager via Control Panel, or by running the command devmgmt.msc.

It is my current understanding of computer edicate and courtesy to place both sleep mode and computer on modes as “active” and not the same as off/shut down mode. I do not recognize microsoft asking to down load new updates in the same way as does Java. Microsoft tends to state new down loads have been applied and invites one to click to see what they are.Java is diffrent it says upgrades are available for download-”click here” …
Yes stupid the computer must be on! ;<)
