How to change or add OEM logo in the Performance Information and Tools applet in Windows Vista

Summary
This article describes how to add OEM logo to the Performance Information and Tools applet in Windows Vista.
Adding the logo
- Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
- Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winsat
- Create a sub-key named WindowsExperienceIndexOemInfo and select it
- In the right-pane, create a string value (REG_SZ) named logo
- Double-click logo and type the full path to the logo file (.BMP file type)
- Exit the Registry Editor.
