Error "Action could not be completed" when you attempt to search for a computer on the network

Symptoms
When you try to locate a computer on the network using the Windows XP Search companion, the following error message may appear with an yellow exclamation mark:
Unexpected Error
Action could not be completed.
Also, if you use the Windows classic search, nothing may happen when you attempt to search a computer.
Resolution
This is caused if one or more keys are missing in the registry. Download the following VBScript and save to Desktop. Double-click the file to run it.
