As we recently saw<\/a> the Aero Shake feature can be disabled by enabling the “Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture” option in the Group Policy Editor, or by creating the NoWindowMinimizingShortcuts<\/code> registry value. Here’s another way to disable Aero Shake using the registry.<\/p>\n

Disabling Aero Shake using the “DisallowShaking” value<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Start the Registry Editor (regedit.exe<\/code>)\n
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to the following branch:<\/li>\n
  3. Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named DisallowShaking<\/code><\/li>\n
  4. Set the value data of DisallowShaking<\/code> to 1<\/code>.<\/li>\n
