Files are now categorized as either &#8216;Trackers&#8217; or Junk&#8217; and when a user wishes to customize their clean, the purposes of each file type is explained (for example, Temporary Internet Files are described as \u2018Files left behind when you visit websites\u2019).<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the latest versions of CCleaner, you&#8217;ll see two options namely <strong>Easy Clean<\/strong> and <strong>Custom clean<\/strong> in the main window.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9749\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/ccleaner-disable-easy-option-2.png\" alt=\"disable ccleaner easy clean option\" width=\"501\" height=\"326\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting Easy Clean and clicking on the Analyze button would show two categories of items for cleanup &#8212; namely, <strong>Trackers<\/strong> and <strong>Junk<\/strong>. Once the analysis completes, you can review and select\/deselect the items you want to clean up.<\/p>\n<p>Whereas, the <strong>Custom clean<\/strong> is the old interface shows the list of entries, where you can select or deselect entries for each application, before running an analysis or cleanup.<\/p>\n<h4>Make CCleaner default to Custom Clean<\/h4>\n<p>To open CCleaner dashboard to <strong>Custom Clean<\/strong> by default, you can configure it by opening CCleaner <strong>Settings<\/strong> and choosing <strong>Custom Clean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9748\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/ccleaner-disable-easy-option-0.png\" alt=\"disable ccleaner easy clean option\" width=\"699\" height=\"184\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>How to Remove &#8220;Easy Clean&#8221; Option in CCleaner<\/h2>\n<p>For those who prefer the old interface which doesn&#8217;t have the Easy or Custom buttons, here is a registry edit:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start the Registry Editor (<code>regedit.exe<\/code>) and go to the following branch:\n<pre>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Piriform\\CCleaner<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Double-click <code>(Cfg)QuickClean<\/code> and set its data to <code>0<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Exit the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>When you reopen CCleaner, it should no longer show the Easy Clean and Custom Clean buttons.
