This lists the folder contents as a menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/archived\/ql-folder-cascade1.png\" width=\"464\" height=\"178\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Method 2: Using a Registry edit<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch Registry Editor (<code>Regedit.exe<\/code>) and go to the following branch:\n<pre>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Create a new REG_DWORD value named <code>CascadeFolderBands<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Double-click <code>CascadeFolderBands<\/code> and set its value data to <b>1<\/b> (dword:00000001)<\/li>\n<li>Exit the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<li>Log off and log back in for the change to take effect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now, click on the free space next to the folder icon (see where the mouse pointer is, in the image).
