This post tells you how to change a picture from color to greyscale using the built-in Photos app in Windows 10.<\/p>\n

Convert Images to Greyscale<\/h2>\n

  1. Open the image file using the Photos app. You can right-click on the image file, choose Open with, and select Photos<\/code> from the list.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Photos app, click on the Edit & Create<\/code> button at the top, and select Edit<\/code> in the drop-down menu.

    \nThe resulting page shows you three options, namely: Crop & rotate<\/code>, Filters<\/code>, and Adjustments<\/code>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Adjustments<\/code>. On the Adjustments<\/strong> page, you’re given the option to increase or decrease brightness, reduce color saturation, etc.

  4. Click on the Colors slider and drag it all the way to the left (-100<\/code> setting).

  5. Click on the Save a copy<\/code> button to save the modified file with a new name. Note that the Save a copy<\/code> chevron also provides a Save<\/code> option which when used, will overwrite the current file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
