For example, when you add a folder to the built-in Video library, the following error occurs:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"err\">The folder could not be included in Videos.<\/pre>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-81028\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/add-to-library-error.png\" alt=\"folder could not be included in library\" width=\"364\" height=\"186\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>You can add up to 50 parent folders to a Library. Trying to add more folders results in the above error.<\/p>\n<p>You can work around the issue by reorganizing and combining some of the existing folders in the Library into one parent folder. That is, create a parent folder and add all those folders into it.
