User profile cannot be loaded.&#8221; when logging on to a newly created user account.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Fix &#8220;The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in&#8221; Error in Windows 10<\/h2>\n<p>During the first login to a newly created user account, Windows uses the <code>Default<\/code> user profile template (<code>C:\\Users\\Default<\/code>) to create a user profile for the new account. The above error occurs if the <code>Default<\/code> user profile folder is missing or some of its sub-folders or the registry file <code>NTUSER.DAT<\/code> are missing or corrupted.<\/p>\n<p>To resolve the problem, you can get a fresh copy of the Default user profile folder from another Windows 10 computer. To make it easier for you, I&#8217;ve uploaded the <code>Default<\/code> profile folder in a zipped file.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/w10-default.zip\">w10-default.zip<\/a> and extract the contents to a folder.<\/li>\n<li>Move the folder <code>Default<\/code> to the <code>C:\\Users<\/code> folder. If the <code>Default<\/code> folder already exists under the <code>Users<\/code> folder, you may want to rename the original <code>Default<\/code> folder to <code>Default.old<\/code> before copying.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>(Note that the <code>Default<\/code> folder is hidden by default.
