However, you&#8217;re unable to import the .vpb file on a Windows 11 computer, even after installing the Photos Legacy app.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On Windows 11, the Import backup (&#8220;Import a video project backup file&#8221;) option doesn&#8217;t exist. Instead, you see the &#8220;From a folder&#8221; submenu when you click Import. You&#8217;ll find the following files and folders inside a .vpb file.<\/p>\n<div class=\"qt\">ProjectLibraryPhotoVideoItems (folder)<br \/>\nProjectDuration<br \/>\nProjectName<br \/>\nProjectState<br \/>\nRpmData<\/div>\n<p>To extract files inside the .vbp archive, please do the following:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Make a copy of your .vpb file.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Change the extension of the file to <strong>.zip<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Now, you should be able to extract the contents of the .zip file to a folder. See <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/zip-and-unzip-files-8d28fa72-f2f9-712f-67df-f80cf89fd4e5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Zip and unzip files.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Your files will be located inside the ProjectLibraryPhotoVideoItems subfolder. If you backed up multiple files, each file may have its own subfolder. You can list the items or flatten them using a file search.
