How to remove the EAC driver<\/h2>\n

Step 1: Delete the EAC service<\/h3>\n

You can delete the EasyAntiCheat service using the following commands:<\/p>\n

From an admin Command Prompt<\/a> window, run:<\/p>\n

reg export \"HKLM\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\EasyAntiCheat\" c:\\EasyAntiCheat.reg<\/pre>\n
sc.exe delete EasyAntiCheat<\/pre>\n
reg export \"HKLM\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\EasyAntiCheat_EOS\" c:\\EasyAntiCheat_EOS.reg<\/pre>\n
sc.exe delete EasyAntiCheat_EOS<\/pre>\n
\nNote: The “EasyAntiCheat_EOS” service may not exist on some systems. If you receive the errors ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.<\/code> and [SC] OpenService FAILED 1060<\/code> for the last two commands mentioned above, ignore them and proceed to the next step.<\/em>\n<\/div>\n
Step 2: Rename the EAC folder<\/h3>\n
After restarting Windows, please rename this folder:<\/p>\n
c:\\program files (x86)\\easyanticheat<\/strong><\/pre>\n
to<\/p>\n
dummyfolder<\/strong><\/pre>\n
Step 3: Refresh the eligibility assessment using CompatTelRunner<\/h3>\n
From an admin Command Prompt window, run this command to refresh the eligibility assessment for the latest feature update.<\/p>\n
CompatTelRunner.exe -m:appraiser.dll -f:DoScheduledTelemetryRun<\/pre>\n
It takes a few minutes to complete. After the task completes execution, restart Windows and check for updates. Windows Update should offer you the latest feature update — e.g., Windows 11 24H2.<\/p>\n
