All the options in the “Sign-in options” page in Settings \u2192 Accounts may be grayed out in your Windows 10 or 11 System.<\/p>\n

Also, you see the notification, “Some of these settings are managed by your organization.”<\/p>\n

As a result, you can’t enable the Windows Hello settings, facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, PIN, and Dynamic lock.<\/p>\n

Resolution<\/h2>\n

To enable the options in the Sign-in options page in Settings, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

Option 1: Using Command Prompt.<\/h3>\n

Open an admin Command Prompt<\/a> and run:<\/p>\n

reg add \"HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\PolicyManager\\default\\Settings\\AllowSignInOptions\" \/v \"value\" \/d \"1\" \/t REG_DWORD \/f<\/pre>\n
Press Enter.<\/p>\n
You should see the output, “The operation completed successfully.”.<\/p>\n
If the settings are not restored in Sign-in options, restart Windows for the changes to take effect.<\/p>\n
Option 2: Using the Registry Editor.<\/h3>\n
Launch regedit.exe<\/strong><\/code> and go to:<\/p>\n
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\PolicyManager\\default\\Settings\\AllowSignInOptions<\/pre>\n
Double-click the DWORD value named “value<\/strong>” and set it to “1<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Exit the Registry Editor.<\/p>\n
Restart Windows.<\/p>\n
