You wonder if a problem with the hard drive causes this or how to remove the exclamation point icon.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-75929\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/yellow-exclamation-drives-1.png\" alt=\"yellow exclamation on drives\" width=\"755\" height=\"187\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Cause<\/h2>\n<p>The yellow exclamation point reminds you that BitLocker protection is suspended on that volume. The yellow exclamation icon does not indicate any hardware fault.<\/p>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>Open Control Panel \u2192 System and Security \u2192 BitLocker Drive Encryption.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-75928\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/yellow-exclamation-drives-bitlocker.png\" alt=\"yellow exclamation on drives - resume bitlocker or disable bitlocker\" width=\"757\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this example, the F: drive is protected by BitLocker but is currently <strong>suspended<\/strong>.
