(or)<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>c:\\windows\\temp<\/strong> or the user <strong>%temp%<\/strong> folder permissions are incorrect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>To resolve the error 0x80070660 (&#8220;ERROR_INSTALL_TEMP_UNWRITABLE&#8221;), follow these steps:<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Create the missing &#8220;Installer&#8221; folder.<\/h3>\n<p>The Windows Installer Cache folder &#8220;c:\\windows\\installer&#8221; is an important folder that should not be deleted.
