{"id":64667,"date":"2023-11-07T06:03:49","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T00:33:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/198.58.113.91\/blog\/?p=64667"},"modified":"2023-11-07T06:05:53","modified_gmt":"2023-11-07T00:35:53","slug":"error-occurred-troubleshooting-0x803c0107","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/error-occurred-troubleshooting-0x803c0107\/","title":{"rendered":"An error occurred while troubleshooting &#8211; 0x803c0107"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you run a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/fix-store-app-issues-using-troubleshooter-windows-10\/\">Microsoft Troubleshooter<\/a> pack, the following error may occur:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"err\">An error occurred while troubleshooting:\n\nA problem is preventing the troubleshooter from starting.\n\nError code: 0x803C0107<\/pre>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-64668\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/0x803C0107-troubleshooter.png\" alt=\"0x803C0107-troubleshooter error\" width=\"571\" height=\"440\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Cause<\/h2>\n<p>The error code\u00a00x803C0107 (&#8220;SDIAG_E_TRUST&#8221;) means &#8220;Trust validation of the diagnostic package failed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This happens if the scripted diagnostics group policy &#8220;Configure Security Policy for Scripted Diagnostics&#8221; has been enabled.<\/p>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>To fix the error 0x803C0107 when running the troubleshooter pack, remove the ValidateTrust policy setting.<\/p>\n<h3>Method 1: Using the Registry Editor<\/h3>\n<p>Please open <strong>regedit.exe<\/strong> and go to the following branch:<\/p>\n<pre>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\ScriptedDiagnostics<\/pre>\n<p>Delete or rename all the values in the right pane.
