Error: 0x800F081E[gle=0x000000b7]<\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s evident that the Spring Creators Update setup was unable to install or update the Windows Media Player package.<\/p>\n<h3>Resolution<\/h3>\n<p>Uninstall or more Windows Media Features via Optional Features dialog, and then attempt to install the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update.\u00a0To do so, use these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right-click Start, click Run.<\/li>\n<li>Type <code>optionalfeatures.exe<\/code> and press <kbd>ENTER<\/kbd><\/li>\n<li>Expand Media Features<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6174\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/w10-wmp-features.png\" alt=\"spring creators update error 0x800F081E wmp\" width=\"429\" height=\"646\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Uncheck Windows Media Player.<\/li>\n<li>Click Yes when you see the following message:\n<div class=\"err\">Turning off Windows Media Player might affect other Windows features and programs installed on your computer, including default settings.
