Fix: Google Chrome “Waiting for Proxy Tunnel”<\/h3>\n

To fix the problem, disable auto-proxy discover setting using these steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Right-click Start, click Run.<\/li>\n
  • Type inetcpl.cpl<\/code> and click OK.<\/li>\n
  • Select the Connections tab<\/li>\n
  • Click LAN settings<\/li>\n
  • Uncheck “Automatically detect settings”<\/li>\n
  • Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Now, the system will no longer attempt to automatically detect the proxy settings, and uses the manual proxy settings (if configured), or no proxy is used.\u00a0Restart Google Chrome.
