This may have to do with Microsoft&#8217;s server settings and not a problem with your Windows 10 settings. Also, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/cortana-search-registry-tweaks-windows-10-redstone-2-preview\/\">search box registry tweak<\/a>\u00a0(<code>WhiteSearchBox<\/code> registry key) may prove ineffective as it works only for the current login session.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5774\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/cortaba-turns-white.png\" alt=\"cortana search box white color\" width=\"701\" height=\"143\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Change Cortana Search Box color from White to Normal<\/h3>\n<p>Here is a trick to revert Cortana search box background to the default gray color.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Click Start, Settings.\u00a0Click Time &amp; Language, and select Region &amp; Language.<\/li>\n<li>Change to a country where Cortana is unavailable.
