The “Show most used apps” toggle switch may be grayed out on the Personalization \u2192 Start page in Windows 10 or 11. This is due to a Privacy setting that turns off the ability to track recent programs.<\/p>\n

Enable “Show most used apps” option<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Open Settings (WinKey + i)<\/li>\n
  2. Click Privacy.
    \n\"show<\/li>\n
  3. Enable “Let Windows track app launches to improve Start and search results”<\/li>\n
  4. Click Home, click Personalization, Start.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You should now be able to enable the “Show most used apps” option.<\/p>\n
