You can add your frequently used ribbon commands to the Quick Access Toolbar for easy access &#8212; so that you don&#8217;t need to switch tabs each time to use a particular command.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Add Ribbon Command to the Quick Access Toolbar<\/h2>\n<p>To add a command to the QAT, on the File Explorer ribbon UI, select the appropriate tab to display the command that you want to add to the QAT. Right-click the command, and then click <strong>Add to Quick Access Toolbar<\/strong> on the right-click menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/qat-customize-0.png\" alt=\"Customize File Explorer QAT\" width=\"675\" height=\"234\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5175\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Add as many commands as you&#8217;d like. You can also add the most useful <strong>Command Prompt<\/strong> and <strong>Command Prompt (Administrator)<\/strong> commands to the Quick Access Toolbar. They are not in the ribbon, but in the File menu.
