Powering off PC via On\/Off chassis button and powering it on again will boot into Windows correctly.<\/p>\n<h2>Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>If the above error occurred after changing the Page file settings, please revert to the default settings &#8212; i.e., enable &#8220;<strong>Automatically manage paging file size for all drives<\/strong>&#8221; in the System Properties Performance dialog.<\/p>\n<p>If that doesn&#8217;t help, follow one of the workarounds below.<\/p>\n<p>As per the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/openspecs\/windows_protocols\/ms-erref\/596a1078-e883-4972-9bbc-49e60bebca55\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">[MS-ERREF]: NTSTATUS Values<\/a> page, the error <code>0xC0000719<\/code> means the following:<\/p>\n<pre>STATUS_CONTEXT_MISMATCH\nThe provided context did not match the target.<\/pre>\n<p>The above doesn&#8217;t make much sense for an end-user.<\/p>\n<h3>Option 1: Unplug all devices except the keyboard and mouse<\/h3>\n<p>Please unplug all external devices except the keyboard and the mouse. If the problem doesn&#8217;t occur when no devices are plugged in, reconnect the devices one at a time, reboot, and test. Narrow down the device that&#8217;s causing the problem.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what a user at the Microsoft Answers forum said:<\/p>\n<p><em>I had this error coming up when powering on my computer. Apparently, it was related to a USB Ethernet Adapter, TP-Link UE300 to be exact. After unplugging the adapter and using only WiFi, the problem disappeared. Also, I mentioned that if I turned off Fast Startup, even with the adapter plugged in, the problem was no more. So I don&#8217;t know who is to blame: Microsoft, TP-Link, or Asus (my laptop). The adapter had installed a Microsoft driver, then I installed a driver from the TP-Link site. With both drivers, the problem was there.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Option 2: Disable Fast Startup<\/h3>\n<p>Alternatively, you can disable &#8220;Fast Startup&#8221; to workaround the issue.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open powercfg.cpl<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Choose what the power buttons do&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Change settings that are currently unavailable&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Uncheck &#8220;Turn on Fast Startup.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"rp\"><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/turn-on-fast-startup-missing-windows-11-10\/\">\u201cTurn on fast startup\u201d option missing in Windows<\/a><\/div>\n<hr>\n<h3>Option 3: Disable Hibernation<\/h3>\n<p>Disabling hibernation or Fast startup should workaround the issue. Note that disabling hibernation will also disable Fast Startup.<\/p>\n<p>From an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/open-elevated-command-prompt-windows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admin Command Prompt<\/a> window, run:<\/p>\n<pre>powercfg \/h off<\/pre>\n<p>The above command turns off hibernation and Fast startup.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rp\"><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/move-hiberfil-sys-hibernation-another-drive\/\">Can I move Hibernation file (hiberfil.sys) to another drive<\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>Editor&#8217;s note:<\/strong> It&#8217;s advisable to inspect the Kernel-Boot, Kernel-PnP, Kernel-Power, and the &#8220;System&#8221; event logs in the Windows event log to check if a hardware error is causing the hiberfil.sys error.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you start your computer, the following error may appear: Your computer can&#8217;t come out of hibernation.
