If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.\n\nError 0x80070522: A required privilege is not held by the client.<\/pre>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-46182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/0x80070522-unexpected-error-copy.png\" alt=\"0x80070522 unexpected error when copying a file - privilege not held.\" width=\"557\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The above error may occur even though you&#8217;re logged in as administrator and the &#8220;Administrators&#8221; have Full Control permissions for the non-system root folder.<\/p>\n<h2>Cause<\/h2>\n<p>The above error occurs if the non-system drive&#8217;s root folder is assigned the &#8220;High&#8221; Mandatory Integrity level.
