To quickly access the My Music, My Pictures, and the My Videos folder from the folder pane, you can create separate <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/ms997573.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">namespace<\/a> extensions for those folders and have them listed in the folder pane in Windows Explorer.<\/p>\n<p><b>Editor&#8217;s note:<\/b> My Documents folder is always displayed in the folder pane, regardless of its file system location. This is because the My Documents folder, which you see in the folder pane, is a namespace extension, which is an alias to the user&#8217;s documents folder. Whereas the My Music, My Pictures, and the My Videos folders don&#8217;t have any namespace extensions by default.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rp\"><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/add-custom-folder-this-pc-navigation-pane-windows\/\">How to Add a Custom Folder under \u201cThis PC\u201d in Explorer in Windows 10<\/a><\/div>\n<h2>Add My Music, My Pictures, My Videos to the folder pane<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ve created three .REG files that create namespace extensions for My Music, My Pictures, and the My Videos folders. Download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/addtofolderpane.zip\">addtofolderpane.zip<\/a> and save to Desktop.
