That passwords will be written to a CSV file in plain-text.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Import Chrome Passwords from a CSV file<\/h3>\n<p>You can import Chrome passwords from a CSV file. To do that, you&#8217;ll need to first enable a flag (experimental setting.)<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1: Enable the &#8220;Password import&#8221; feature<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <code>chrome:\/\/flags\/#PasswordImport<\/code> address in Chrome.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20240\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/chrome-password-import-flags.png\" alt=\"chrome import passwords from csv - flags setting\" width=\"701\" height=\"193\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Set &#8220;Password import&#8221; to Enabled. This setting enables the import functionality in password settings.<\/li>\n<li>Close all instances of Google Chrome.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"qt\">\n<h4>Enable the &#8220;Password import&#8221; feature via shortcut properties<\/h4>\n<p>Alternatively, you can add the switch &#8220;<code>--enable-features=PasswordImport<\/code>&#8221; in your Chrome shortcut properties in order to enable the password import feature. For example, if your Google Chrome shortcut has the following target:<\/p>\n<pre>\"C:\\Program Files\\Google\\Chrome\\Application\\chrome.exe\" --profile-directory=Default<\/pre>\n<p>Change that to:<\/p>\n<pre>\"C:\\Program Files\\Google\\Chrome\\Application\\chrome.exe\" --profile-directory=Default --enable-features=PasswordImport<\/pre>\n<p>Close all Chrome instances and start a new one.
