However, there is no such shortcut available to toggle the navigation pane. So let&#8217;s see how to overcome this limitation using AutoHotKey.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Hotkey to Show\/Hide Navigation Bar in File Explorer<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Download AutoHotkey from www.autohotkey.com and install it.<\/li>\n<li>Open Notepad and copy the following lines into it:\n<pre>#If WinActive(\"ahk_class CabinetWClass\")\r\nF8::Send !vn{Space} ; Toggle the navigation pane\r\n#If\r\n<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Save the file as <code>navpane.ahk<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Double <code>navpane.ahk<\/code> to run it.<\/li>\n<li>Open File Explorer and press <kbd>F8<\/kbd> to show\/hide the navigation pane.
