This service&#8217;s startup option would be grayed out usually. Follow these steps to enable the service.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start the Registry Editor (<code>regedit.exe<\/code>)<\/li>\n<li>Go to the following branch:\n<pre>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\AppXSvc<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Double-click &#8220;<code>Start<\/code>&#8221; and set its data to <code><strong>3<\/strong><\/code>.<br \/>\n<em>(Note: Start type: 3 means &#8220;Manual&#8221; start.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Exit the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<li>Restart Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You should now be able to access the Settings \u2192 System \u2192 About page now. Note that you can also access this page using the <kbd>Win<\/kbd> + <kbd>Pause\/Break<\/kbd> key combination.<\/p>\n<h3>Additional Information<\/h3>\n<p>You can add the OEM information to the System \u2192 About page.
