This software is available via the Microsoft Store. This app will be installed as an inbox app in the upcoming builds of Windows 11. Note that this app is pre-installed in Windows 11 Insider build 22581.1 and higher.<\/p>\n<p>Clipchamp installation would add the &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221; item in the context menu of image and video files. Notably, the &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/remove-share-with-skype-right-click-menu-option-windows-10\/\">Share with Skype<\/a>&#8221; context menu entries are also shown in the Windows 11 fast context menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26737\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/remove-clipchamp-context-1.png\" alt=\"remove &quot;edit with clipchamp&quot;\" width=\"431\" height=\"517\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are some bugs in the Clipchamp context menu. If you open the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/get-classic-full-context-menu-windows-11\/\">classic context menu<\/a> by clicking &#8220;Show more options,&#8221; you may see that the &#8220;Print&#8221; command (or &#8220;Set as desktop background&#8221;) is the default option. This means that double-clicking on image files will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/photos-open-print-pictures-instead-of-photos-app\/\">open the Print dialog<\/a> or set the image file as the desktop background.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26736\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/remove-clipchamp-context-2.png\" alt=\"remove &quot;edit with clipchamp&quot;\" width=\"431\" height=\"323\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The above bug could be simulated in the current version (v2.3.0.0) of Clipchamp.<\/p>\n<p><em>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/fix-slow-right-click-crashes-shell-extensions\/\">Troubleshoot Shell extension issues<\/a> in Windows.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"qt\">\n<p>Also, the Clipchamp context menu removes the &#8220;Enqueue in Winamp&#8221; context menu option. A Winamp user reported this:<\/p>\n<p><em>After installing the latest Beta release build of Windows 11, the Enqueue in Winamp option has disappeared from the right-click menu for media files. In Winamp, I tried unchecking &#8220;Show Winamp actions in folder context menus&#8221; and then re-enabling it, but I can&#8217;t seem to bring it back. I use this feature on a daily basis, so it&#8217;d be terrible to lose it. Anyone has any ideas on how I can get it to show back up?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Just figured it out. It replaced &#8220;Enqueue in Winamp&#8221; with &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221;, a new video editing program Microsoft just added in the Beta update. I went to add\/remove programs and uninstalled Clipchamp, and my enqueue option returned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you wish to remove the &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221; context menu entry, you can do it using a simple registry edit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rp\"><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/fix-slow-right-click-crashes-shell-extensions\/\">Troubleshoot Context Menu Shell Extensions in Windows<\/a><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Remove &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221; Context Menu Entry<\/h2>\n<p>Follow these steps to remove the Clipchamp context menu option.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start the Registry Editor (<code>regedit.exe<\/code>)<\/li>\n<li>Go to the following key:\n<pre>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Shell Extensions<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Under <code>Shell Extensions<\/code>, create a subkey named <code><strong>Blocked<\/strong><\/code> if it doesn&#8217;t already exist.<\/li>\n<li>With the <code>Blocked<\/code> subkey selected, in the right pane, add a new String (REG_SZ) value named <code>{8AB635F8-9A67-4698-AB99-784AD929F3B4}<\/code><\/li>\n<li><strong>Optionally<\/strong>, double-click <code>{8AB635F8-9A67-4698-AB99-784AD929F3B4}<\/code>\u00a0and set its data to <code>Clipchamp<\/code> or some text you prefer.<\/li>\n<li>Exit the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<li>Log off and login back, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/exit-explorer-restart-windows-10-8\/\">restart the Explorer shell<\/a> for the change to take effect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This removes the <strong>Edit with Clipchamp<\/strong> context menu option by blocking the GUID <code>{8AB635F8-9A67-4698-AB99-784AD929F3B4}<\/code> &amp; the corresponding DLL file <code>Clipchamp.ShellExtension.dll<\/code> from loading.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rp\"><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/remove-share-with-skype-right-click-menu-option-windows-10\/\">Remove &#8220;Share with Skype&#8221; from Right-click Menu<\/a><\/div>\n<p>Alternately, you can run the following command from an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/open-elevated-command-prompt-windows\/\">elevated Command Prompt<\/a> to disable\/block the &#8220;Edit with Clipchamp&#8221; context menu item.<\/p>\n<pre>reg add \"HKLM\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Shell Extensions\\Blocked\" \/v {8AB635F8-9A67-4698-AB99-784AD929F3B4} \/f<\/pre>\n<p>Note that you&#8217;ll need to restart the Explorer shell or log off and login back for the change to take effect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clipchamp is a video creation and editing suite from Microsoft.
