This option launches the Windows Terminal app, a tabbed user interface where-in you can open multiple PowerShell or Command Prompt profiles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24387\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/w11-open-command-prompt-terminal-1.png\" alt=\"open command window here in windows 11 - windows terminal default\" width=\"383\" height=\"469\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By default, clicking on the &#8220;Open in Windows Terminal&#8221; context menu option launches PowerShell (the default profile).
