If the disk space usage bar doesn&#8217;t show up in your system, this post tells you how to fix this.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/w10\/disk-usage-tileview-2.png\" width=\"562\" height=\"178\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Disk Space Usage Bar Missing in This PC<\/h2>\n<h3>Step 1: Reset &#8220;This PC&#8221; Folder Views<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open File Explorer and click This PC.<\/li>\n<li>From the File menu, click Change folder and search options.<\/li>\n<li>Click the View tab and click <strong>Reset Folders.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This resets the This PC view to defaults. Close and open This PC. If that doesn&#8217;t help, use these steps:<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2: Fix the TileInfo registry value for Drives<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Click Start, type <b>Regedit.exe,<\/b> and press <kbd>ENTER<\/kbd>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the following branch:\n<pre>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Drive<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>In the right pane, double-click <code>TileInfo<\/code> registry value and set its value data to:\n<pre>prop:*System.PercentFull;System.Computer.DecoratedFreeSpace;System.Volume.FileSystem<\/pre>\n<p>Note: If the <code>TileInfo<\/code> value is missing, create the value of type String (<code>REG_SZ<\/code>) and set the value data as above.<\/li>\n<li>Exit the Registry Editor. Open This PC. The disk space usage bar should display now.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/w10\/disk-usage-tileview-1.png\" width=\"562\" height=\"172\" border=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Disk space usage info (text) missing?<\/h2>\n<p>Here is a variation of the above problem. The disk space usage bar may be present, but the free space information (text) may be missing underneath the bar. This is due to a long Volume label, which occupies two rows of the tile.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/disk-space-info-missing.png\" alt=\"disk space usage free space info missing in this pc\" width=\"663\" height=\"204\" \/><br \/>\nIf the above is the case, right-click on the drive and choose Properties.
