If you&#8217;ve deleted this task by mistake, this post tells you how to get it back in Windows 10. Use any one of the following methods.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Restoring Windows Defender Scheduled Scan from XML file<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Windows-Defender-Scheduled-Scan.zip\">Windows Defender Scheduled Scan.zip<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Unzip the archive and extract the XML file to a folder:<\/li>\n<li>Open the XML file using Notepad.<\/li>\n<li>Change the path to <code>MpCmdRun.exe<\/code> in the XML file accordingly.
