For Google Chrome and Firefox, there are many add-ons or extensions for this purpose. This post features a couple of nice extensions that can copy the URLs for the current tab, current window, or all windows. Further, both these add-ons allow nice customization as to how the title and links are copied.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Copy URLs of All Open Tabs in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge<\/h2>\n<h3>Mozilla Firefox<\/h3>\n<p>The Firefox extension <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/export-tabs-urls-and-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Export Tabs URLs<\/a> (ETU) provides the following options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Include titles:<\/strong> Export Tabs URLs (ETU) provides a default format that displays titles along with tabs URLs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom format:<\/strong> Custom patterns can be defined instead of the default &#8220;include titles&#8221; one (e.g. markdown.)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Filter tabs:<\/strong> ETU provides a RegExp-enabled tabs filter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limit to the current window:<\/strong> Optionally, the list can be limited to the current window.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ignore pinned tabs:<\/strong> You can configure ETU to ignore pinned tabs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By default, this add-on can copy URLs or the Title &amp; URLs in non-markup format. But you can customize the markup as you wish. From the Export Tabs URLs Extension options page, you can set different markups.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9140\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/export-tab-urls-1.png\" alt=\"Copy URL and Title of All Open Tabs in Chrome and Firefox\" width=\"699\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><code>{title}<\/code> : title of a tab<\/li>\n<li><code>{url}<\/code> : URL of a tab<\/li>\n<li><code>{window-id}<\/code> : ID of the window containing a tab<\/li>\n<li><code>\\r\\n<\/code> : new line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To copy the Title (with a trailing colon) followed by the URL in the next line, modify the default markup to:<\/p>\n<pre>{title}:\\r\\n{url}\\r\\n\\r\\n<\/pre>\n<p>After modifying the setting, this is how it gets copied (with the trailing colon) &#8211; exactly as I wanted.<\/p>\n<pre>Export Tabs URLs \u2013 Get this Extension for ? You can filter the list by keyword or regular expression and copy the filtered results to the clipboard.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9139\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/export-tab-urls-2.png\" alt=\"Copy URL and Title of All Open Tabs in Chrome and Firefox\" width=\"441\" height=\"471\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"qt\">\n<p>Another simple extension you may want to check out is <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/copy-all-tab-urls-we\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Copy All Tab Urls WE<\/a>. With this extension, you can copy the URLs or Title &amp; URLs. It doesn&#8217;t allow you to customize the markdown, etc. But if you a simple copy URL extension for Firefox, this is exactly what you want.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9141\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/copy-all-tab-urls-we.png\" alt=\"Copy URL and Title of All Open Tabs in Chrome and Firefox\" width=\"446\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Tested with Firefox version 66.0.4, which is current as of this post.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3>Google Chrome<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/tabcopy\/micdllihgoppmejpecmkilggmaagfdmb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Tab Copy<\/a> is an awesome add-on for Google Chrome, that allows good customization and it&#8217;s pretty simple to use. Installing it adds an icon to the top-right area in the address bar. You can also configure it to show the tab copy options in the context menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/chrome-copy-tab-url-0.png\" alt=\"Copy URL and Title of All Open Tabs in Chrome and Firefox\" width=\"237\" height=\"76\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It offers two modes &#8212; Simply mode and Fancy mode. In simple mode, to copy URLs, you either have to click the icon, double-click or triple-click it depending upon what you want.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Single-click: Copies selected tabs in the current window<\/li>\n<li>Double-click: Copies all tabs in the current window<\/li>\n<li>Triple-click: Copies all tabs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Fancy mode, you&#8217;ll see a pop-up menu showing these options which are self-explanatory:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9143\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/chrome-copy-tab-url-1.png\" alt=\"Copy URL and Title of All Open Tabs in Chrome and Firefox\" width=\"364\" height=\"256\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As to what&#8217;s copied to the clipboard when using this extension, you can configure it in the extension options. Right-click the Tab Copy icon and choose Options. It provides multiple formats for you to choose from. The flyout menu allows you to copy the current page title and URL to the clipboard. There is also a &#8220;Copy all Tab URLs&#8221;, but that option copies only the URLs (without title) for all open tabs in Edge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24015\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/edge-copy-tab-urls.png\" alt=\"copy tab urls edge chromium\" width=\"750\" height=\"525\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to copying as HTML, there are options to get the title and URL as Markdown or in Wiki format. With HTML Address tag output, you can also select the link target (new window, or current window).
