(0x80070716)<\/div>\n<p>This can be fixed by deleting a registry value which may have been carried over from the previous Windows installation. Or, you may append the value with a hyphen (-) as in the picture below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/archived2\/w10-sib-err-3.png\" width=\"586\" height=\"223\"><\/p>\n<p>Exit the Registry Editor.<\/p>\n<p>The System Image Backup a.k.a Backup and Restore window should now launch correctly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/archived2\/w10-sib-err-2.png\" width=\"593\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<h2>Registry Fix<\/h2>\n<p>To automate the above setting, download <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/archived2\/w10-sib-fix.zip\">w10-sib-fix.zip<\/a>, unzip the enclosed REG files and double-click w10-sib-fix.reg to run it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you click the System Image Backup option in the File History window, Error 0x80070716 may be shown and the System Image Backup page doesn&#8217;t open.
