Backup and Restore Taskbar Pinned Items Using Batch Files<\/h2>\n
To backup the pinned taskbar shortcuts automatically, here is a Windows batch file that does it for you:<\/p>\n

- Download backup_taskbar_pinned_items.zip<\/a>, and extract the two .bat files to a folder.

This will create a folder named Taskbar-Pinned-Items-Backup<\/b> on your Desktop containing all the Pinned shortcuts, along with a registry file export of the Taskband key.

Backup and Restore Taskbar Pinned Items Manually in Windows 10<\/h2>\n
The Pinned items configuration for the Taskbar is stored under the “Taskband” key.<\/p>\n

- Click File, Export and save the branch to a REG file. (e.g. tb-pinned-list.reg<\/i>)<\/li>\n
- Open the REG file using Notepad and delete the FavoritesResolve<\/b> value and its corresponding data.\n

- Press Ctrl<\/kbd> + Shift<\/kbd> + Esc<\/kbd> to launch Task Manager.<\/li>\n
- Click the File menu, New Task (Run…) and type:\n
