After installing a Windows 10 feature update, you may be unable to download apps or update existing apps in the Microsoft Store. Downloading apps or updating them results in the error 0x80D02017<\/code> with the description saying “Unknown”.<\/p>\n

Running the Store apps troubleshooter<\/a>, reinstalling Microsoft Store<\/a> or resetting the Store using wsreset.exe<\/code> may not fix the problem.<\/p>\n

This problem can be fixed by turning off IPv6 in some systems.<\/p>\n
Fix: Microsoft Store error 0x80D02017 in Windows 10<\/h2>\n
To fix the error 0x80D02017<\/strong> in Microsoft Store, disable IPv6 temporarily using these steps:<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. Right-click Start, click Run<\/li>\n
  2. Type ncpa.cpl<\/code> and click OK<\/strong>. It opens the Network Connections Control Panel directly.<\/li>\n
  3. Right-click on your internet connection and then select Properties.<\/li>\n
  4. In the list of items, uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP\/IPv6).

  5. Click OK and restart the computer.<\/li>\n
  6. After downloading the apps or updating them, re-enable IPv6 if required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
