With the Windows 10 Creators Update (codenamed “Redstone 2”) Preview Build 14942, the way in which services are hosted has changed. In Windows 10 v1703 systems with more than 3.5 GB of RAM, each service would get its own service host (svchost.exe), instead of running under a shared service process.
