When you install the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (KB5003173), it may roll back at 90% and displays the following error:
We couldn't complete the updates Undoing changes Don't turn off your computer.
After restarting Windows, the Windows Update page shows the error
"There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800f0922)"
This happens if the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) web browser has been uninstalled earlier by the user.
To resolve the issue, use one of the methods below if you’ve uninstalled Edge:
- Delete the empty “
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge” folder. (or)
- Download Microsoft Edge (Chromium) and install it.
