Happy New Year 2017. Best Wishes from WinHelpOnline

First, thank you very much for reading my articles. I’ve been posting tips, fixes and customization ideas online for Windows, since 2003 when I was given free hosting by the generous folks at MVPS.org, as I was a Microsoft MVP then (2003 to 2012).

Then in 2005, this site, winhelponline.com was established as I had to move over to Linux hosting platform to leverage a popular CMS that ran on Linux. After about a couple of years, again I had to switch over to WordPress, which is the best open-source CMS in the recent years.

Winhelponline has had a great year in 2016 and looking for a more prosperous year ahead. I don’t have a concrete roadmap for 2017 — I’ll just continue what I’m doing now. I’m hoping to interact with you much more in the future. Feel free to send in your article comments, suggestions. Also, when you find a post that’s worth sharing, please share. That way, this site also benefits.

Finally, I’d like to tell one thing. Without your support and encouragement, Winhelponline.com’s success wouldn’t have been possible. I really mean it.

Wishing you a Happy New Year 2017.

Best Regards to you all.

Ramesh Srinivasan, ex-Microsoft MVP
Winhelponline.com, online since 2005.

  2. Saw your article on Change Drag & Drop Sensitivity in the Registry, wonderfully done, and I need help since I am an old man, 76 years old, and have little knowledge about computers. You say in the article, “set the data for DragHeight and DragWidth values to 50.” I understand everything else you say, but I do not know how to set these values. Could you give me a step by step instructions, such as right click mouse on x? This would really fix my windows computer, but I don’t know how to change the values. Thank you very much for any help in advance. I am disabled on Social Security and badly need your help
