The latest version of OneDrive client, which is v17.3.6720.1207 (to be precise) as of this post, comes with a new flyout notification showing you the list of synced files as well as the items being synced. Also, for each file being synced, the upload speed along with the progress bar indication is shown as well.

You can set the flyout type using the registry. Personally, I don’t see a reason why one would want to switch back to the old flyout type, as the newer one appears neat and useful. But if you prefer the old flyout notification in the latest OneDrive client software, you can revert to it using a registry setting.
To change the setting manually, use these steps:
Start the Registry Editor and go to the following location:
Create a DWORD value named ForceLegacyFlyout, and set its value data to 1.
If the changes don’t take effect instantly, close and reopen the OneDrive client.
