Microsoft Edge, like any other major web browser on the market, has the capability to save your tab sessions when you close the browser. You can have Edge open all the tabs from your last browsing session whenever you start it.
Open tabs from last browsing session in Edge
Start Microsoft Edge, click the More icon (with three dots), and click Settings.
In “Open Microsoft Edge with” drop-down box, select “Previous pages”
That’s it! From now, Edge will open your last visited sites at every start.
Regardless of which option you select in the drop-down box, Microsoft Edge when closing down, saves the session history by default in the Recovery store folder here.
Selecting the “Previous pages” option from the drop-down makes Edge use the last saved “recovery” information and open that particular set of tabs or browsing session at startup.
The “Recovery” folder also comes into play when the browser crashes and needs to restore the last visited pages after recovery.
