Pressing the CTRL + ENTER keys do not add prefix http://www. and .com at the end ?

Symptom
When you type google in the Address bar and then press CTRL and Enter keys together, Internet Explorer adds the http://www. prefix and .com at the end (thus completing the URL http://www.google.com). In some cases, the CTRL + ENTER functionality may be lost.
Resolution
- Click Start, Run and type CONTROL INETCPL.CPL
- Select Content tab, and click AutoComplete button
- In the Use AutoComplete for section, put a checkmark near Web addresses
- Click OK, OK to close the dialog.
