Ideally I'd like to move c:\User to d:\User and have all of Vista built-ins point to the new location.
Also "\User\Public" folders do not show the "move" button on the Location tab.
The start menu built in "documents", "music", etc. point to the old location still (I haven't done a cold reboot yet though).
Thanks for answering this question, thus far. Please post your answer on the other vista forums - I've seen several similar questions, mine included, and no answers so far.

Thanks for helping me dig myself out of this. Don't buy a Wester Digital My Book Essential by the way. Lasted just over a year and the warranty is only 12 months!
