I've been trying to do this stuff through the registry, and after following several different sets of instructions to the "T", my new entries still didn't show up.

I knew you could do it through TweakUI, but I couldn't figure out how to get it running on Vista.

Again, thanks!

Microsoft updated the file, obviously. It installs but does not run on Vista 32-bit Home Premium. Thanks, but no thanks. God I hate Vista.

Make sure you right-click the TweakUI.exe file (once extracted), and on the compatibility tab you much tick the option to run in WinXP SP2 compatibility mode, then go to "show settings for all users" and tick the same checkbox there, in addition to the "run this program as admin" checkbox. Finally, when you double-click TweakUI.exe to run the utility, make sure you right-click and opt to "run as adminstrator." Takes a few clicks to set up, but it works just fine...

The right-click shellnew menu has been driving me crazy since I got my Vista notebook nearly a year ago, and I'm so relieved to finally clean it up and remove all those junk entries for MS office and everything else... muchas gracias!
