I was frustrated with Outlook opening instead of Windows Mail when hitting the Windows Photogallery e-mail button.  I followed the "Setting Default Mail Client" instructions and the problem was instantly solved.  Thank you from a grateful I.T. durrh-head who was hopelessly lost!<br/><br/>

Tried all the above. I getting the size settings and the hit ok. I briefly see preparing the picture to send and then box disappears. Does not open new email. I did the default mail program and scannow fix.  I have 2 user on PC. One works the other does not. I even created a test user and that one does not work.<br/><br/>

Never had this problem before and couldn't figure out why I was getting a message from Windows Photo Gallery saying to go to the Mail icon in the control panel and select my profile....like what was that. I followed the instructions here and now it works perfectly again.<br/><br/>
