Plus, the image can be larger than 128x128. It's better to use square images; otherwise Windows will crop to fit. 

I created a folder called "User Pictures" in "Documents" to store the images I like to use and choose "Browse for more pictures.." if I feel like a change. 

If you don't want to be confronted by pussycats and puppies every time you change your user picture, browse to, C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures and delete away!
