Are we any closer to getting DocFix for Windows 7? I’ve tried everything to fix this issue. Can’t see any reason why Windows Live Mail won’t open .doc attachments. All other attachements are OK. Can you tell me what DocFix actually does? Can I fix this RegEdit?

I had this problem from Windows Live Mail using Windows 7. I resolved it simply by reassigning the .doc association to open with Microsoft Word, even though it was already set to that. Weird, but we can now open the attachments right from within WLM.
