STOP Error [BSOD] Screen Goes “Green” in Windows 10 Creators Update

The Blue screen error which is popularly known as “Blue Screen of Death” or BSOD appears when Windows encounters a STOP Error. STOP errors denote critical failure either at the hardware level or due to buggy kernel mode software. In Windows 10 Preview Build 14997, it has been noticed that the STOP error message screen is shown on a green background, instead of the usual blue background.

The above is a STOP error manually generated using NotMyFault, as I’m still yet to see a STOP error in my systems running Windows 10. Windows 10 has been so stable, leaving aside the user mode errors caused by apps.
