How to convert audio files to another format
Q: How can I convert .wma or .wav files into .mp3 format?
A: Converting audio file formats is not possible natively in Windows, but there are some good third-party tools to do the task. One such software is Switch, a sound file converter for Windows or Mac. It can convert audio files from many different file formats into mp3, wav and many other file formats.
Switch can convert a variety of audio file formats including wav, mp3, ogg, flac, aac, wma, au, aiff, ogg, msv, dvf, vox, atrac, gsm, dss and other formats.
You can select the output file format from the drop-down list box, and set the bit-rate by clicking the Encoder Options button.
