Did it myself in the end using method 1. It’s just the automatic method 2 I couldn’t get to run in Windows 7

@Phil: Which version of Windows Live Mail do you use? Also, let’s know if the following folder exists in your system:
“%Programfilesdir%\Windows Live\Mail\Proof\prf0009\2″

I receive this errorwhen I try to run the programme from my vista desktop

Took a while to find this handy little script, but not as long as it took to find WLM does indeed have a “REAL” English spellchecker :)
