When you click Games Explorer in the Windows Vista Start menu, a folder window may open briefly and then closes out. Despite this problem you may be able to run individual games from Start, All Programs, Games folder in the Start menu.

To fix the Games Explorer, use the following steps:

Open an elevated Command Prompt window. To open an elevated Command Prompt, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Type the following command and press ENTER:

regsvr32.exe gameux.dll

After running the above command, you should see the message DllRegisterServer in gameux.dll succeeded.
